Liking the Combo set - perhaps XXL but I'm unsure of where to find your sizing charts? I'm 6'3" 225-230lbs (ok maybe 235 on a bad day ha) What are we looking at for costs?
Thanks Dude - thats awesome. Roughly how many points off are we looking at? I really would like a thinner full John. 3-4MM maybe I'll take alook. That said I just listed my ski. I have little time to ride / have 45min drive to get anywhere / 2 yr old daughter / New job thats going to take up...
I'd like to see a couple pics of these installed in tray / handle pole , maybe how guys have wired them in to battery/bilge. What of feed back from anyone whos purchased? And how much shipped to Toronto?
Hey Buddy - ya its been crazy - I lost my stouffville riding spot - and I just haven't had any time with this new house / the move and I'm pretty much looking after my daughter 24X5 when my wifes at work...I've been on my ski twice this year?!! Brutal....I miss you guys I really thought I'd be...
I'm 6'3" 225lbs and I took 3" off my 07SJ - works for me, nice length I could probably go to -4" maybe -5" but I'm not going to take it all apart again for an inch or two. At 5'11" I'd go -3" / -4" no problem I saw no negative affects but a huge difference in control and little to no porpusing.
I sold my 89 650SX with head/impellar/ride plate/pipe 3-4 yrs ago for $2500 with trailer and it was kinda rough. But thats Canada eh? Theres few if any stand ups available up here. $700 for a clean one? Sold I'd take it.
I miss my SX it was so much easier to ride. But thats a topic thats...
Interesting thread. i bought my 07SJ with impeller/Bpipe/jets already installed and apparantly 'dialed' in. It runs awesome with no problems. I'd be apprehensive to change anything - but interested in whether or not an adjustment would do anything noticeable to the low end?
Second this - i have a pair of dark grey and brown ones - I love the brown - I've had them for 6-7 yrs. I bought a pair for a buddy who had laser surgery - he kite boards hardcore and loves them, so much so that all his buddies now have them aswell. Solid product. I highly recommended for all...
I'm $400 in Canada for my 07SJ at $6000 value full coverage. Appears theres little consistancy with rates? Those of you paying $100-200 a year may only have liabilty.
I too agree the liablity issue is a concern but I'm more concerned if some jacks my ski even though I lock it up all the time.
Battery Tender Jr. I have 3 - I use all the time. My "Origional OEM Harley" one originally cost $100. The other two $20 originally for my Waverunners. I used the supplied pig tail lead and hard wired my SJ and bike (it has an OEM monitor alarm that continually draws power) - after every ride I...
I wouldn't do it - I never my run ski onto the beach and almost never even walk it up on to the beach if I can help it. Use a beach stand or kart.
The beach will scratch the hull unnessecarily and the risk of damaging your pump is huge.
Thanks Dude - surgery went well. Little messed up some times when I eat - body still adapting? I'm back to work still in detective office. Should be back on road by May. Thanks for asking - hows your ski coming? You going to wrench that thing all year? Your going to get along well with DRoc / Mario
Those 'Ultimate Bunks' look good. But I take PT 2x4 round the ends, router the edges. Paint them with good out door paint- black. Then wrap three sides with carpet and use stainless steel staples. Works / looks good lasts long, and the carpet store is your color pallet?
Stiff pole or tie down strap over tray ledge near hood to each side of trailer, the extra strap tail end - tie or wrap around actual bars..no damage or scuffs!
