Hello everybody! my 91 SN is overheating, before i start taking things apart i just want to hear some opinions. link to my build thread: http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/51812 everything was fine until this last ride in somewhat shallow water that was dirty and lots of weeds/debris that i had...

very interesting, who have thought to block it off with a screw? :) mine has the fitting, so i just run a hose to my pisser. don't really know the thread size unless i take it off and measure or you could try doing this your self. i think that would be your best bet to match the fitting at...

make sure you have fresh fuel from tank all the way to carbs, and make sure you tune your carbs according to your setup and jetting...

could be, check to see if you hear any noise from engine/buttom end when idling. besides this i would still think, something with carbs / fuel delivery maybe old lines/gas/filter/ water in lines/carb/tank/engine anyways, if you have compression+spark+fuel there should not be any problems...

its defiantly the best mod :) but need to head back to refuel in no time...

stock flame arestor for sure, this way water does not get as easy into the carbs! and i guess you are left with the hood mod since you already have 2 pumps, you must be in some raugh surf using 2 pumps and getting water in ? :)

mine does the same, i think this happens when you get a lot of water inside by going under the water without modding your hood liners! the only solution i see, is to install a good 500gph bilge pump in the location of the stock one!!

dont waste your time and money! mix gas with some wd40 and use a scraper to take off, keep on spraying and adhesive becomes soft almost instant ones gas/wd40 is applied !!

anyone knows what spring comes stock with 91 650 ? SBN 44mm Mikuni ? by the looks of the color i think its a 95g ? thanks....

I appreciate all the input!! got some jets today to match the pipe, they didnt have 125 so i had to go one size up witch is 127.5 and they didnt have 65 gram spring. i should be able to get it next week. will i be able to run stock spring with this bigger jets for now ?? (95?) tom21...

that is the same as others, except you decided to run lines on both cylinder heads, whitch i want to do as well. and did you touch your carb settings at all?

could be forever :smile: if you don't run into any major problems like crazy overheating or a few siezes or one huge enough on top speed :smile: and obviously assuming bearings are properly greased!! and not made in china :wave:

did you touch the carbs at all? cause buttom end is great but top feels a bit funny. as well what kind a 90degree pisser are you guys using? for now i only ran a hose to choke location and left choke under the hood. but hot piss is always in my face :scratchchin: thanks...
