For the girdle install, is it in fact necessary to loosen all the "cylinder to case" nuts in order to clear the new JSU nuts (4) for the corners? In doing so would that tear the stock base gasket?
There seems to be a little confusion with the people Ive spoken to on what exacltly kind of jets I need for the stock carbs on a 2004 sxr. Will 38/44/46 mm Mikuni Jets work? B/c I know the carbs are 40mm but I cant find any listings for 40mm mikuni carbs..
The ski is a 2004 and stock 40mm Mikuni's. I was wondering if you guys could help me figure out what kind of jetting would be best for rec riding with these mods.

I dont have any bad notions against him and I am fully aware of the hectic times he's at right now. Just the one thing that bothers me a ton is not getting ahold of someone and them not calling back in a timely manor.

I have read and was told to open my factory pipe manifold to approx. 48mm to help with my engine mods. I have also read that the ealier manifolds were 42mm and the newer ones are 44mm stock from factory pipe. I just measured mine and both the manifold and headpipe are 39mm. What gives? Would...
