So you would just leave the pump on for the full curing process so about 24 hours in cooler tempatures? That would definitely change what pump I would get. This is all very helpful advice.

Continuous duity? Would that mean I leave the pump active during the entire curing process? From the information I've gathered I was planning on laying up the material, pulling the vacuum, then clamping off the hose to seal vacuum until it cures.

Any pumps you would reccomend? I suppose I could buy the pump and materials separate if that's cost effective and also a better pump.

Do you think that complete kit at $600 with the 4 CFM pump would be enough for a beginner.

Depending on the water we ride the lake or bay. If there's huge waves you can pop out in the lake then come ride the bay when you get tired or need a brake. If the lake is flat and it's boating season you get all the boats coming out the bay and we just wait for them to start throwing a wake...

Irondoqoute Bay State launch is where we ride out of. There was a group of riders that used to ride out of Braddock bay but I don't know how often they go now. Welcome to come to ride with us we chase boats alot lol.

Are lithium batteries alright to run with stock charging system? I've heard mixed reviews.. Is the trickle charge from the stator enough to over charge a lithium battery(anti gravity)?
