Is the x2 a reliable ski?

Depends on if they are running 650 or 750 electronics on the 750. 2 bilge is a must on a x2 in the surf. prob is the hood design sucks and never seals, they have little square caps that blow out of hard landings and let tons of water in. You sound determined to follow the x2 route even after...

Is the x2 a reliable ski?

keeping water out of an X2 in the surf is a challenge, if you can keep it somewhat dry inside you should be fine. Just gotta make sure your X2 doesn't have the exposed ebox components, and if it does you gotta find a way to keep them dry

    Carbon Foot Rocket build

Why not run the Kavinci pole? I have 2 here and so far they seems super strong and look sharp, might as well stay with Krash products if you can.

Gabe & Steff's Krash Predator Build

I use a Blowsion spring with the pictures tensioner block, with a longer than usual pole. My pole has negative weight, I tighten the bolt just slightly to keep the pole from bouncing too much, and it stays at riding height and moves with very little effort. If you leave the pivot bolt loose...

Gabe & Steff's Krash Predator Build

I would not T the supply line and feed the manifold and headpipe from same line. I will use a Y fitting and feed both manifold fittings from on pump feed line. Tune temp with restrictors after the head. As for clogging issues, I don't run filters and I regularly ride in less than 6 inches of...

Gabe & Steff's Krash Predator Build

If your running 2 cooling lines off the pump, feed the ex manifold with one and the bottom of the headpipe with the other, both head lines go overboard and the top of headpipe goes to a T that goes overboard and to the fcv. If you ride colder temps this allows you to tune engine temp without...

Build a Superjet or a Predator

I love my Predator, decent all around boat, AWESOME surf boat!! That being said I highly recommend riding anything before you spend that kind of money. A predator will chase boats just fine, handles chop better than it handles smooth and glassy at full speed. I have a predator your more...

Gabe & Steff's Krash Predator Build

Just an FYI, contact cement is not glue. You do not apply and stick pieces together while wet. Rather you apply 2 thin coats to each item, allowing coats to dry between. Once both coats are completely dry to touch you stick the turf to the tank and it instantly holds. Use a rubber mallet to...

    148 skat-trak install?

Never mind. You are not able rotate since it's a one piece. You can always red till the fitting at a better angle and plug the current hole

    148 skat-trak install?

Can you rotate the stator section 180 degrees? I know if you run an Oem stator in a Krash hull you need to do this.... Can't say k have any experience with your particular setup

Surfriding Backflip cherry popping in Daytona

Jump off the ski and test depth where waves are breaking and you want to attempt flip, just remember that the tide is constantly changing and that the depth can change drastically within a very short distance. Use caution and common sense and go check depth before attempting a first
