Hi Everyone, New to the X, but long time watcher on the forums. What does everyone do with their registration docs when out on the water? I was thinking about plastic baggies to keep them in my fire extinguisher compartment, but they would fall down in there and would be difficult to retrieve...

I always keep hose clamps in my box - I had an exhaust hose come off in the waves and almost sunk my ski. Luckily it got a lot louder to let me know something was wrong.

Can't agree more on the knife for cutting out ropes! Last summer I think I cut a dozen ropes out of friends skis when they sucked up dock lines in the water.

Adding to the Jeff Jacobs style - I find that having the back foot sideways gives me a little more "feel" when initiating turns and modulating the angle of the ski. I just need to get my left foot a little bit stronger!

Work in progress - might have to redo my right foothold but love the way this ski carves!

Purchased this pretty clean 2010 SJ a couple years ago and absolutely hated the turf that was on it. Now that I'm getting around to replacing it, I've come across the right foot hold and its angled toe up off of the tray - is this normal?
