He had a stock set up with the pipe when he first got the ski. Since then he has put on an ADA head -180 psi- using the same plugs as me. 93 octane why do you ask?
Crash- Exactly like he had it, but his was a O nose.
I do have a stock head with a pisser. I might mention that the pisser pisses about 6-7 feet under power! Which seems to be a lot IMO.
I will shoot some pictures of the cooling layout to show you.
Matt- Ok you got me on that one. It is a 2007 [ ] nose . . .
J/K it is a 1994.
I set it up exactly like he had it. Literally we unbolted and moved it to my ski.
No restrictors.
Would you like for me to shoot a shot of the cooling routing for you to see?
Can someone post pics of their routing of cooling lines?
I have a type IV that is pissing scalding water out of the pisser and melting couplers.
The pipe came off of an 02' O nose which ran perfectly before I put it on my [ ] nose.
Maybe you guys can help me with my pipe . . .
I have the FREERIDE pipe but with an underlying issue.
The pipe was running perfectly on my buddy's 02 Onose.
I took the same set up and put it on my stock 04 []nose.
After about 4 hours of run time I melted the coupler.
After checking everything...
I got the pipe for ..... nada, zip, nothing! My friend just about gave it to me b/c threw in the towel and went "B". BTW on the B and the dry has anyone found mounting the manifolds sucks?
I was wondering if the stock head could be milled. Thanks for the info!
Yeah the ole Concord 3mm cut...
Once you put the dual 38's on it I would think the recomended specs for mounting to a stock twin carb 701 as listed on the Factory Pipe site in the instructions sections should get you close. Read there disclaimers carefully and consider starting "fatter" to start with just to be safe.
That was...
Thanks for replying Vomit.
I am using the stock cases, head, bore, and for now intake.
The engine has like maybe 100 hrs on it since 94' !
Tell me about your set up .... jetting, performance, etc.
I am just trying to get a feel for what can be done and what
shouldn't.
I just installed a Riva (freestyle) Dry pipe on my 94 [ ] nose.
Does anyone have an input with this combo?
At this time I am running a 44mm BJ carb at stock specs. In about a month or so I will be switching to dual 38s.
Anyone input is greatly appreciated?
I was looking at a gallery on X showing a turf install by WAMILTON!
Notice the cigarette so close to the HIGHLY FLAMMABLE contact cement.
I can not believe that he is still alive.
DO NOT SMOKE WHEN INSTALLING YOUR TURF!
No oil in that part of the engine
Danny,
Just make sure you are running a 40:1 mixture of 2 stroke oil and gas.
The plug means nothing on your engine or I should say nothing goes in there.
The smell you smell may be good and it may be bad. You are supposed to have a little grease around the...
Going to Darbone after lunch today
Hey man I will be going up after lunch.
I left you a post before you started looking for your problem the second day.
In it I told you to call.
When you did not call Sat. morning I called you sometime before noon and left you a voicemail.
Any way I...
Kane .... Why didn't you just call me today???
I will call you tomorrow. Don't panic it is probably your flux capacitor. Your battery has to be putting out 1.21 jiga watts to even turn your engine over!
Did you get a Mr. Fusion owners manual when you bought your FIX IT 1?
I will be more...
