Update years after haha... since i saw my old ski up for sale again it got me feeling nostalgic. So i thought id update this thread to how the ski was before we sold it. Also have some videos of flipping.

Don't be ripping on the q8 if you've never ridden mine. It was OG freestyle. And after riding your motor I think you are gonna need more. Wouldn't hurt. So do the cases, actually port it, dual 44s at least.

Work on body English to get the nose up. & I always found that the slower the better. But I could be wrong with your setup.

Yes, off your own wake. Trim isn't this miracle flipper. Work on your setup wake and pre hop more than anything. It's what makes the biggest difference. I had trim with my 701 setup and it didn't help because it just cut the height. Every boat after that I've built has been tommy style (no...
