How much did you end up shaving off? I'm thinking I'll have to go 4 mm

If I were to shave the Bedplate, considering the coupler needs to drop 3-4mm, how much should I shave off the bedplate? 3 mm? Would that still be strong enough to hold the motor?

I am using stock superjet mounts that were with this engine out of my sj. Custom mounts or a shaved bed plate might be the best way to go.

I recently bought this EME Micro FR hull and I am putting my 701 engine into it. Pump was installed before I bought it. The engine side coupler sits about 3-4 mm higher than the drive coupler. Shimming would not make a difference because it would only be more off then. I am using stock mounts...

@JetManiac I emailed Factory Pipe and they had sent this email back about the waveraider. I wonder if the SJ 701 b pipe would mount right onto the waveraider block? And if the pressure is adequate for the waveraider engine. "Sorry, our 701 WaveRaider pipe has been discontinued for about 13...

Instead of the stock raider pipe, what would work for a pipe? Engine is bone stock. Maybe fit a b Pipe in there? You must have one I'm sure haha!

How did this work out for you? I have the same engine with a 99 round nose with pump, everything but the engine is needed. Do you think the coupler will line up to the sj midshaft? Or is there a different midshaft size I can use. I may need to get a different pipe for it to fit in the hull...

I have bought fuel lines off of Blowsion but they go bad/ discolor and harden after a year. What is the best recommendation for colored lines other than Blowsion.

I have a 1999 760cc Full mod ski. The factory B pipe's coupler that connects the head pipe to the pipe keeps falling off loose from the hose clamps that i have on there. what can i do to make this not happen? ThaNKS
