I found a pinhole leak in the fuel tank today from where it was rubbing against a metal fitting. Can this be repaired with 2-part epoxy and fiberglass cloth, or will the fuel dissolve the epoxy?

Not sure how, but the stator came loose and wreaked havoc on the flywheel. Not the best way to end a Sunday's ride.

The reinforcement inside the cable is broken. Same thing happened to my SJ (bought in Florida as well). Salt water gets into the cable and rusts out the steel. Happened to me on a BR attempt. Needless to say I didn't land that one.

Looks like it's either 1/2" or 5/8". I'm hoping someone will have the hose laying around and can measure it. If not I'll probably just buy a few feet of each and see which one works.

The hose from the fitting to the pump nozzle is 3/8, but the one inside the hull is a bit larger.

Anyone know what the size of the black hose is going from the factory strainer to the thru-hull fitting next to the pump? The fitting seems to be about 1/2", but I can't tell for sure.

Part numbers would be very helpful. I think I can salvage what's in there, but I would much rather fix this properly.

I have an OEM Yamaha starter motor with some water damage to the brushes and brush plate. Is anyone aware of any rebuild kits available that would replace those parts. The rest of the motor seems to be in great shape, so it would be a shame to ditch the whole thing just for a few parts.

The SJ won't start. The starter motor spins fine off the ski, although it feels a bit weak. Once I install it I get at best a one second crank, then the relay will only click when I hit the button. It's a new battery with new JSS starter and battery cables. Is this likely the starter, or...

Does anyone know if the Xscream steering systems (standard or adjustable) will work with the stock SN pole?

We've used the site, but there's no guarantee with those stations. We frequently find trace amounts of ethanol in pump gas listed on those sites. Not enough to make a difference in most engines, but it can cause a problem with our fuel systems.

My company is looking for a company that can deliver ethanol free 93 pump octane to our airport. Does anyone have a source they use for race gas that would be able to send us several drums every few weeks? We've found a few local stations that claim ethanol free, but we'd rather have...

Ok, thanks. I'm trying to avoid a full refoam until after the fall. Stupid question, but can I apply resin directly to the foam? I've seen it react badly to some other foam materials.

I need to cut out and replace a small section of foam. I goes right under my left foot, so I need something that can support a load. Are there and good materials for this? This way have been covered before, but it's really a pain to search on a tiny mobile screen.
