I purchased a Powerfactor waterbox and it installed just fine. Had to modify how the bungies attached and add some foam and turf the bottom to lean it towards the side of the hull away from the gas tank. I also turfed the side that leans towards, and touches, the side of the hull.
I have a RIckter Edge with a TnT v3 Laydown Pipe and the Limited Slip 3.7 Tank. Until recently I have been running the RRP waterbox but its cracked and Im wondering what else will fit in this hull. Does anyone know if the Power Factor waterbox will fit without modifying it? Seems like the...
Hi Mike, I have an Rickter Edge with a limited slip 3.7 Gallon tank. Do you think the PF waterbox would fit in the hull with that tank? Im currently running the RRP waterbox but it has cracked and I want to replace it.
Bring a compression checker. Cylinders should read no more than 5 PSI different. 170ish is ok for 91. Anything goin highger will start needing race gas or avgas mixture. Be sure to check the impeller for any nicks or dings. A 2019 should be mint unless it was neglected and/or abused.
I recently sent my TPE 1021 to Paul for a complete preventative maintenance overhaul (Top end and Crank rebuild). Being in CA and Paul in GA, I was a little hesitant to crate it up and pay high shipping prices. After a few discussions with Paul over the phone, he sent me a quote of the worst...

When I hold the two balls in my hand they seem exactly the same except 1 ball is old and Dirty (even though its been scrubbed) and one is new .
The real difference is when I put the balls into the scupper. The old ball seems to get stuck in the hole, the new...
The Thrust ball is 1.5 Inches so thanks for sharing. I cleaned my existing ball and valve and will try ordering a new one.
FYI after cleaning the ball and valve area its way less sticky but the ball does appear to have some wear so replacing it for $6 is probably the best option.
I installed a Thrust Ball Scupper a few years ago and have been noticing that it is sticking shut. Thinking about using Vaseline or a pool gasket lubricant on it to allow it to open up when I give it gas. Searched forums and haven't seen anyone discuss this. Let me know what has worked for...
Looking for more air, put 2 - 1 inch clam breathers on the back of my hood with tubs running to front of the ski. Considering a scoop but wondering if anyone else got creative and wants to share more ideas.
@JC-SuperJet just found one of my FS carbs has a bad bushing/worn throttle plate. Does full spec sell replacement kits for these,? Just called Ed a few minutes ago to ask but saw this post so figured I would ask while I wait for him to get back to me.
