    SXR sxr modifications, what next?

I'm looking into light weight hoods and when I looked on Trinity's site they started at $1000. Is there another hood I missed?

SXR What stuff should i get?

I have Blowsion Mac Mashers on my ski. Easy to install with no cutting of the tray. Blowsion has turf kits to sell along with them. Plus they are legal if you ever decide to run buoys... These are not as aggressive as some footholds if you are building a strictly freestyle ski...

    SXR Timing advance???

I do not have any experience with the advance plate. On the other hand if you take your temp sensor and splice it together it will advance your timing 6 degrees. I did this to my ski and noticed a difference. I think you need to run a higher octane gas with the timing advance. It will give you...

Help get an SXR modded - suggestions

I have the Skat-Trak double grate with the stock shoe. The grate made a big difference in choppy water. I purchased the SS as I like the extra weight lower in the hull.

Help get an SXR modded - suggestions

D-ski is right on with the temp sensor. Its the green one if you were not sureYou should probably run higher octane gas with the timing advance. . If you are running stock breathers remove the rubber plugs on the end and you will get more air flow. Basically the same as if you purchased...

    SXR Top End Rebuild

I also have an 04 sxr. This past spring I decided to add a head and pipe combo for more power. I was going to hone and re-ring the pistons but there was some scorching on one of the cylinders. They cylinders were stock bore. I sent my cylinders to Randy at Watcon.com. He boreed them one size...

My first SXR 800...Looking for ideas/info for aftermarket intake for 2008 model.

A scoop grate will help keep your pump loaded up in choppy water and also help to stick in the corner. If you like to slide around or are still building turning skills then stick with stock. I use a stainless steel Skat Trak and have been very happy with the performance. I chose SS b/c I like...

    SXR Compression

I checked my compression with the spark plug in and gto 190 then I took the plug out and the cpmpression was the 185 range. I've been running 93 octane and it seems to be running pretty strong with no problems! I am using the timing advance that Factory Pipe included. Thanks for all your help!

    SXR Compression

This winter I added a Kommander girdled head and a wet pipe to my ski with a thicker base gasket. I ended up with 190psi in each cylinder. Is it safe to run premium gas?

    Wet Pirpe Adjustment

Thanks for the help guys! I will just put some antiseize on them for now. I ride about 99% in fresh water anyways so I shouldn't have too many problems!

    Wet Pirpe Adjustment

I recently purchased a factory wet pipe for my SXR. I remember somebody posting a new product that would eliminate the smaller water adjustment screws and replace them with something better. Maybe some sort of T-Handle. I looked through all the new product releases and cannot find it. Does...

    Octane Octane Value

Hey guys. I currently have an 03 octane that was purhcased as a leftover in 04. I put front sponsons on it and shortened turn plate from Randy at watcon. Other than that it is stock. Im thinking about selling the ski and just wondered how much the ski is worth. Thanks for your input.

    Octane handling

Last fall I purchased a stock octane. I did the watcon rejetting, stearing plate, and tow loop. My ski will not lean in the turns and slides out. What are the best products to use to help the octane handle more like an sxr. I am hoping to race in two weeks and want to be competative. Thanks
