I have a 2014 SJ and it only chine walks a little bit between half and 3/4 throttle but I just gas threw it or don't hold it there. Only does it when on glassy water. The lake I ride on has lots of boat traffic so it hardly ever happens. Also I'm 6' 2" and 285 pounds for weight comparison to...
I asked this same question before when switching bars. Everyone says to grind the plastic nub off but i just drilled a new hole in the bar the same size as the hole on the old bar. Peace of mind believe the nub is there to keep switch from turning on the bars. Not very hard to measure where...
I ride every couple of days or atleast every weekend almost. I dont worry about the carbs during that time just turn fuel selector to off when traveling though. A good yaulsa battery will last multiple season on one of my skis battery is a least 6 years old. Just remove from ski during the...
Any word on stock water box with b pipe wrecking motor. Aftermarket needed or not? I just like to blast around the lake and try to do some basic tricks on it.
What would you do with a budget of around 1200 dollars to spend on your ski? Ski is a stock 2014 superjet with only basic stuff done:
odi grips
blowsion endcaps
blowsion finger throttle
blowsion pump cone
complete dual bilge pump kit installed with OCD harness
I was thinking ada girdle head...
Just put new grips on stock bars with billet finger throttle. Question stock bars have hole where the start stop switch piece of plastic goes into bars with new grips this hole is in wrong spot. Is it ok to file the plastic lip down on the switch or do most people redrill the hole were they...
I'm with you on that one! I live in the UP of MI and its just a bit colder! Nice job of snagging a 2014 hull you don't have to worry about water logged foam now. I have a 2014 also!
5 season before a rebuilt top end! My dad bought a WR3 back in 1993 still running 21 years later with no major problems other than new plugs and a battery every couple of years. Checked the compression last summer still a good 150 psi both cylinders. Got to love a good Yamaha motor and...
I always ride with one foot forward towards the bulkhead and other towards the back and switch when my legs cramp or turning hard! I'm on the heavy side so I never ride with both feet at the back like people do with foot holds gets the nose to high.
The older superjets had a fire extinguisher there but this is a 2014. I thought that all round nose superjets had the holder built in the hood and he is using a stock hood on his so wouldn't his extinguisher be there. If that is some sort of front foothold cool idea!
