Should I lubricate any of it while it's apart, anything I can do to help it out?

Unfortunately I've been so busy this year I haven't started taking the 550 apart until now. I have 80% of the engine taken apart and do not see any cracks! What should I do? Just replace every gasket and put it back together? There is kind of a lot of rust, anything I should do about this before...

Bro that worked, created a vacuum, fired right up. After it burned all the fuel off in the cylinders it stalled. I think I have a small leak in one of the primer hoses. Thanks for your help man.

Rebuilt them 2 summers ago and haven't rode much. Yes spark and compression. No fuel in lines.

Thanks fellas, I will confirm compression in both cylinders, replace the head gasket, and take photos. Anyone know where I can find the torque specs and tightening pattern for the head bolts?

Yes I got it started, my buddy had to hold the crankcase drain all the way open while we turned it over. It finally started so I don't know if it was flooded that bad? Let it run for about a minute then tried again an hour later. Had to do the same thing.
