ok pretty sure i got the diaphragm damper in the right place right on top of the o ring, it sits right into the carb body, and the pump body goes over it, just like in the diagram. does the other carb, the one without the pump( only has the return line) also get both the diaphragm damper and...

ok found the mikuni .pdf the black gasket i am talking about is the DIAPHRAGM, DAMPER. part 5a in the diagram. it goes btw the pump and the carb body. above the weird o-ring(part 6a), around the filter, but below the pump housing, fits into the carb body nicely. no where near the clear...

ok anyone got a pic of dual mikuni sxi pro ,or sxr, carbs?? the pump side specifically. when i took apart the pump and return housings, i am not sure i have them in teh right orientation... which nipples are supposed to point where is what i am tryin to figure out. and where that black gasket...

how come the return line housing only has the wierd o ring and no gasket? is that correct?

i think the black gasket goes btw the pump body and the carb body, there is also a weird o ring in there, like a circle with a line down the middle and some other parts in one multi chambered o ring. it also sits directly over/around the carb filter. is that the part of the housing it goes in???

ok i am reassembling my carbs. mikuni i body from a kawi sxi pro, same as sxr... sorry for my poor descriptions not really sure what everything is exactly. i have everything together except theres a big black gasket. its rectangular and goes somewhere between the fuel pump and the carb...

crab, your crossover on the carb manifold(balance tube) is filled right? that would mean if it wanst filled, i would need slightly larger jets, cuz of less air vaccum (signal) on each carb. chokes are out? same as mine. how many turns out are you on the LS and HS??

ok i think i found it. 1 turn is equal to about 2.5 on a jet so a 67.5 at 1 turn out = 70 67.5 at 2 turn out = 72.5 67.5 at 3 turn out = 75 if you have to go more than 2 turns its better to go up a jet size and start over:)

doh, now i find original jetting specs for my sxr carbs... who knows what 1 jet size equates too, like as in turns on the screw vs. a new jet. lets say 67.5 vs. 72.5... could you turn the screws out on a 67.5 to get 72.5?? or even bigger???? i know you try to tune so screws are always around...

is the stock N/S on the sxr 1.5, and the stock spring 80 gram??? that would be good to know :)

okay i got a new set of sxr takeoffs, new carbs intake reeds etc. what carb jetting should i use if i bolt these onto my sxi pro??? only running PROK airfilters. chokes removed primer kit installed. STOCK settings on a SXR mains 132.5...

cant tell if the carbs are bad or not, but cant find anything else leaking, one carb is pumping fuel at idle, the other is not. the ski had a hesitation of about 2 sec off idle, then runs fine to WOT. also seems to run away on the trailer a bit at idle. like a lean condition or a leak...

btw they are prok f/a's and the original sxi pro carbs have choke plates removed and primer kit installed, i will be doing the same to the sxr carbs...

anyone know what original carb specs were for the sxi pro???

i have a 98 sxi pro, pretty much stock except for aftermarket f/a's just picked up a set of new sxr carbs intake manifold etc. if i want to swap the carbs onto my 750 sxi pro and reuse the F/a's what jetting should i use??? the stock parts from the sxr??? or the current setup in the sxi pro...
