1996 Yamaha Superjet standup jet ski, roundnose. Ready to ride today. Comes with a trailer.
Completely stock (701cc 2-stroke dual carb) 155 psi compression on both cylinders. I change the spark plugs every season, perform the schedule maintenance, garage stored, etc. Never had a problem with...
Why does the pro watercross seem to think a 4-stroke superjet is coming this year? Have they actually confirmed this with yamaha?
They even have rules for it. page 46.

I bought my superjet here from a guy in Florida (I live in NC) and he gave the shipping company guy the title which worked out fine. He had rep, I had zero but there was still a trust thing between both parties. In NC the title has to be notorized, just wondering if anyone has any experience...
What is the safest way for both parties or the most common method for accepting payment/title transfer for shipped skis?
Do you use a broker for the title transfer or use paypal goods and services for payment exchange?
How is notarizing the title handled?
Guy has shuttle craft hooked up to a superjet pulling a water skier from a deep water start. I am amazed the 701 has enough power for this. Thoughts? I am sure it burns that 4 gallon tank super fast doing this.
Want to buy RN (96+) superjet dual bilge pump bracket. I plan on running only 1 bilge and stock siphon for now in my superjet but I want the option to add one later if 1+stock siphon isn't enough. Also looking for handle bar switch mount.
PM/Respond with prices shipped to 27513.
Thanks
Guess the tech isnt there yet or we need a bigger company to try:
380lbs for 45 minute run time, 20K, and only 46hp is a hard pass. Better off putting a TR1 in a superjet hull if you are already at 380lbs vs that electric setup. The TR-1 is probably only 100lbs heavier than a 701 and can...
Be cool if they did a electric superjet, with 2hr run time and swappable batteries. Hell if the weight was still an issue with 2hr run time, drop it down to 1hr. As long as you could easily swap batteries I don't think run time on a stand-up would be that big of an issue. I don't think the...
Do they run open or closed loop sensor when it comes to tunes? Do they mount the o2 in the manifold before it becomes wet? What about the turbo/supercharged skis, they run 02 sensor also?
Drop in electric crate motors with interchangeable mounts to fit various skis, applicable to couches also. Strap the batteries to existing gas tanks mounts. Allow for swappable batteries to offset weight and ride time. Most people don't ride continuously for more than 1 hr straight, if you could...
Just buy a stock superjet or lightly modded one, if you want to backflip there are plenty of wake surfers on the lake to chase or you can jump surf waves. Then when you get tired you can still rip around realible and fast. 75ish horsepower on a 300lb ski is plenty especially when you are forced...
Just make electric skis. That is the true future. Pretty soon they will start outlawing 4 strokes due to emissions also. Plus instant torque from electric motor, just that pesky battery run time issue. Or maybe electric motor drop in for existing skis.
Needed to store fuel can on trailer as I tow with a car so can't have fumes insides and added some trailer guides made out of conduit so I can back up the unloaded trailer since otherwise I couldn't see it.
