Inside of my solenoid there were metal washers against the ebox. Added a ground from neg terminal to ebox. All good. Stupid mechanics messed it up. Thanks for all the help.
Yeah it doesn’t have a ground from neg to the ebox. Or one from the Ebox to block. I’ll pull the solenoid today and check it. Hopefully I’m narrowing it down. Thanks again.
My ebox is grounding. Testing with a light it comes on everywhere on it. I used new plastic spacers. Same thing. Regulator ground burns up. Green wire on my cdi is the only thing that didn’t light up. Need a new cdi now too. This is a pain.
I know. Didn’t matter it was already burnt. Only grounds I have are the theee for cdi reg relay. No ground from ebox to block. Only the two positive from relay.
I’ve got the ebox opened. Looked over every connection. Cleaned the wire ends on the battery leads. I don’t see anything broke or pinched. Everything is fairly new. New stator and regulator. New fuse. Battery is hooked up right. I even changed the way I hooked them up to see what would happen...
Positive from starter to positive on Ebox. Another positive on ebox to positive on battery. Ground from starter to neg battery. Not sure what else to check.
do you just mean the wiring for the battery and starter. All the wiring in the ebox is right. I’ve heard an extra ground from battery to ebox would help. I don’t know what else this could be. Thanks.
I have 92 750sx. Just put in a new stator and regulator. As soon as I hook up the battery the ground from regulator starts melting as well as the ground to stator. Assuming it’s a bad ground or short. Anyone had this problem for an easy fix.
