Well...looks like i will be buying a 2017 ski this weekend :)

Also, i have looked at the Krash skis, seems like they are built for performance from the get go so don't require and modifications. Is this complete overkill for a beginner?

Until i get some experience riding i won't really know what i am wanting to do. So if carving is better on the newer ski, does this mean that handling is better in general? Obviously no one wants to ride alone so if i take people out for the day that have never ridden before will it be more fun...

Putting this out there to all the people that have experience with both the pre-2008 and 2008+ Superjet. I am new to standup skis (never ridden one) but do have experience with motos. I am looking to buy a new ski and hoping for some solid advice. Seems as though i can get a 2017 completely...
