I've used it in the rattle can on bottom decks several times with good results. Easy to touch up when you beach it/bump a trailer bunk, etc. Never going to look perfect but a good 5 foot paint job and plenty good enough for me.

All you have to do is rotate the stator section of the pump so the cooling boss will be on the other side to clear the cable and drill the cable mount hole in closer.

Use polystyrene foam in the tray and add versiplugs if you haven't already. Shorten the pole a few inches, upgrade the steering/bars, and put a pipe and prop on it.

I appreciate all the feedback guys. I think my best bet is to send it out to Jetmaniac or someone to reassemble/confirm it's a pre-08 driveshaft and make sure it's spec'd properly. Thanks, Kevin

Picture doesn't help much but from the edge of the pump to the end of the driveshaft on the stock 144 is 21 and 15/16 and the edge of the pump to the end of the driveshaft on the 144 mag measures 22 and 6/16.
