    Addressing Kawasaki 650sx Hood leaks

I am running Ocean Pro. Thinking about going to a vortex flame arrestor with a sock on it but I'm open to other suggestions. I do a lot of subs so being as waterproof as possible is the goal for me

    Addressing Kawasaki 650sx Hood leaks

Day One was focused on getting all of the trouble areas de-flexsealed. It has been my practice to cover the inside of the hood thickly in some flex seal to provide some extra seal area. While doing so, a repair I made last year broke off, which seems like another area for leaks. That was another...

    Addressing Kawasaki 650sx Hood leaks

I would say so considering my dad ran me down on his spark going nose into the side of the hood. Either way I'm going to try to play around with it and see what improvements I can make to the design. Maybe I come up with something were all missing

    Addressing Kawasaki 650sx Hood leaks

Hello everyone, As part of my ongoing project, "should have used this money for a better project," I'm trying to figure out how to prevent water from seeping into my engine bay. Whenever I fall off my ski or any water enters the engine bay, the performance becomes terrible. To fix this issue...

So here is realistically where I am. I live my ski and will likely never get rid of it. Because of that price is not an objection to me but I want to do as much as I can myself to A save in the short term and B enjoy making this ski run like it's off a dealer lot brand new I want suggestions on...

I did end up coming up with the gel coat as an afterthought so I sanded alot of that primer down

After completing the painting work, I found myself in a dilemma regarding my 650 jetski. I had bought it for a relatively low cost by Canadian standards, but then invested almost 6 thousand dollars in not only restoring it but also retrofitting it to keep up with my small fleet of Seadoo Sparks...

    Project "Holeshot" - A "semi budget" 1990 650sx

The paintwork that I did on my ski was an extensive and meticulous process. Firstly, I covered all the cracks with fibreglass putty and sealed the footholds to ensure a smooth and even surface. Next, I sanded every inch of the ski down to a fine 120 grit, before applying plain automotive primer...

*Disclaimer* This is the first of the posts I am updating today. Yes, these are long. But I'm vain and love detail, so here we are :) The bodywork on this ski was a process and a half, to say the least. After peeling back all of the plastic dips, the hull I was left with was left in a state of...

*Disclaimer* This was Originally posted in November 2022 So It all starts with the Sh***y part: Taking everything apart to see what I'm Dealing with. The Ski was painted in White and black Plasti dip. From the start, I knew that wouldn't last because Plasti dip gets destroyed in the waves. I...

*Disclaimer* - This was originally posted in September 2022 Hello All. In May of 2022, I got tired of staring at photos on my dad's garage wall of him and his boys riding their Superjets, Fx1s and 650s way back in the 90s, way before I was born. After a couple of months of restless searching...

I posted about this ski last year, but after the 2023 season, I think I want to make some updates to show my process from a 2700 dollar 35 mph S***box I got for 2,700 CAD to what it is now, a 49 mph Ripper probably closer to 7-9,000 CAD Ripper and finally a 50+ MPH Monster that I probably should...

    Angled Nozzle for 650sx

For anyone reading the thread, 1/16 fits with room to spare on my ski. 1/8th might fit, but it could impede trigger pull if its too snug

    Angled Nozzle for 650sx

Im thinking im safe to go with a 1/16 and that will be plenty strong enough. I was going to use a second steering cable to replace that cooling line but i like running a cable through it more.

    Angled Nozzle for 650sx

Would an 1/8th inch steel cable fit through that cooling line?

    Angled Nozzle for 650sx

The sx dosent have much range to travel I believe. Would the plastic nozzle bottom out before hitting the hull?

    Angled Nozzle for 650sx

How will tne nozzle go back to level after I let go of the trigger? Will gravity lower it? Or does the pump pressure keep it straight out. I would probably buy the nozzle and then get the trirm cable for the 750 aswell and route that to the cable
