    i guess i need to check my pop off again man it runs so pro mid to high, but low to mid and low just suck ass it acts like its running rich by boggin out and then starting to get back to revs, but when you pump that primer it roars to life, its like its rich but its lean haha lame

    lemmie give yah the run down of all thats happened 650 motor keihn 38mm rebuilt stock 140 main jet 75 slow jet stock needle and seat lines hooked up correctly nothing clogged anywhere (thought i was getting air in the fuel so now im just running line from tank to carb) motor passed leakdown test...

    oh forgot to post up, i got it on, just spent like 15 mins with a small file working on the splines, looks like i pulled the tool out a bit while it was still spinning and boogered up the splines just a bit, then i did the kick the ******** out of it method, and now its on haha

    took the carb apart and all 4 little low speed holes were closed shut, cleared it out and rode but to idle it still had to be almost 3 turns out....weird

    i know lazy isnt the way, but would just taking the low speed screw out right now and blowing air thru it damnage anything? seems like i might blow a gasket apart, i think ill pass on doing that, time to take it off again haha

    its not idle speed because when it starts to die at idle and i blip the throttle it bogs i blew everything like crazy with carb cleaner when it was apart, sounds like i should have blasted some compressed air through it if i take it apart where in the carb would i wanna shoot some air?

    just rebuilt my keihin 38mm carb on my 650 and i cant get the low end to do anything. it will not idle at all, but if you prime it alot and rev right up to high end it does great revs back down and idles for like 1 second then die i have tried .5 - 3.5 turns in half turn increments on the low...

    this this is really startin to get to me took off the pump and changed the impeller now im trying to put my pump back in the bastard wont slide all the way in, the splines are engaging a little bit but i only have 3/4-to 1" until the bolt holes line up and it just wont go any farther is there...

    cool thanks man, ill shoot him a pm, so if i take a look at the crank would it be obvious if its out of spec and busted? pretty much if it dosent jiggle should it be good? also how would i tell what year this motor is?

    i picked up this ski that needed some work done. i took the motor out and it wouldn't rotate i think it was the stator stuck because once i pulled the flywheel out about a quarter inch the motor spun fine (i cant get the fly wheel off any farther then that, already broke two pullers) my question...
