Cheers
It's really nice to ride it pops off the wake real nice with the rocker and with the back chopped it just leaves the water so easily and wants to roll etc
Looking forward now to getting my grinder out and starting another one now
just thought I would dig this thread up that I started as I thought you might like to see how it turned out
the rocker got fitted and the footholds got moved forward 5" to match the hull being chopped at the back
the footholds were also made a bit wider
so with all this done it was time...
with the nose being so easy to do I felt I needed more of a challenge so the grinder came out again
the plan is to move the footholds forward by 5"
when I brought this hull the back of the hull had already been shortened
and after seeing it on the water it rides quite nose up,so im thinking...
with the rocker kit sitting happy in place and a few rivots to hold it there a thin layer of glass was layed around it
this was also a good time to get rid of the exterior fuel filler
and quick sand down and a layer of filler and the outside is just about ready to go
hi all not sure if this is in the right place but thought I might share this with you
after reading about the rocker that carter was making for the sj I thought I would get myself another hull and fit one to try out
was a bit late to deal with carter but was glad to hear he sold the mould to...
i would also recomend the ATP pole....nice looking strong pole..
also if your riding in the surf, by just changing the tubes for straight it does away with the need for riser bars
was awesome to watch lee ski yesterday he just gets better and better every time i see him ride..
will post up his routine from rd4 of the jsra when ive finished uploading all the other riders
Australia is about to inherit one hell of a rider
