I don't see how u guys get on the back. I'm 220 and don't have terrific balance and I have a terrible time getting on the back. Side mount was easy and the only way I can get on. Upper body strength is key.

I would put it near the coupler or bearing housing. It doesn't matter which side as long as it is low in the hull.
