this weather stripping works extremely well, the only problem is its 5" short. if applied correctly, the seal wraps all the way around the lip of the hood. I think it seals better than the stock one. i just used standard weatherstiping right behind the hinge. and its only $20. i don't know if...

Put 2 universal 500 gpm or more in. One under the seat and one in the engine bay. The one in the back put on a on-off switch to run all the time( when riding) one in the engine bay on a float switch for emergecies and while stopped. Also a scupper is a good idea to put in the back.

i epoxied mine and it works well. check you cooling lines too, make sure none are leaking into the hull. dual bilges help too.

You should do the quick steer mod. I just did it to mine... Completely different animal. Took about 20 minutes and no $. Free mod and it makes a big difference.

if your going to rebuild it, i would send your pistons to swain tech coatings and have the pistons ceramic coated. it cost 30-50 per piston, but i've had very good luck in a number of 2 strokes. race motors and stock motors. we have run snowmobile race motors so lean that the piston rings...

another way you can test is is by using starting fluid and spraying it on your cases and intake to see if the motor revs up depending on where u spray.
