I rode with a stock setup for awhile... went to UMI last year... I personally like the bearing supported steering and the solid feel it gave. worth it IMO
the smoothness doesnt bother me. just trying to see if its worth the extra effort to switch over to a 62t case. But its looks like by design the 62t flows better which explains the 10hp difference. Correct me if im wrong?
Hey guys was wondering if there was a power difference between a 61x/61x DUAL carb motor Vs. 62t/61x Dual carb motor?
I read that the 62t bottom end puts out 10hp more but is that cause of the cases or the dual carbs?
you got me scared haha lol..the one i got is a reed motor 93. any problems i should look for off the bat?
also how do you get the water out these things no plugs!
got me a 550! compression is dead even in each cylinder, not bad small chips here and there.
what should i prep or look for before i head out? Im thinking about getting a ride plate, intake grate.
thanks for the input guys! much appreciated. I live yamaha but i really like my blasters, never ridden standups. i dont want to spend to much $$ incase i dont like it or something idk.. i finally found a 93 550sx for $550. motor is good compression 152psi each hole. might pick it up tomorrow...
sound like the 9/15 is the ticket.
any topspeed loss with the 9/15 when compared to the stock prop?? or does it stay the same. also would a bored nozzle help? like to do everything at once while its apart
