Ok thanks, most of the aluminum poles were for a square nose but I'll get the measurement. Mario and laurie are still around but everyone is starting to slow down with how much we ride these days.
An msd flywheel is still a fair bit lighter then a lightened stocker with no magnets. You could always use a lightweight charging flywheel or the jstl system was a zeeltronic brain setup with its own trigger system and used flywheels already on the market
I posted this 550 on the first page 7 years ago and this was the ski that started it all for me over 10 years ago. I sold it shortly after to build a superjet, bought it back years later after it had killed its original electronics. The previous owner replaced the stator and still no spark and...
Now the real question is who will be the first to take one apart and squeeze more out of it with maybe some porting and different ignition and carbs. no one leaves their superjet stock right
I bet the shell is worn out because the domes should stick out a few thou to get the desired crush. try shimming them and see but a few years ago when i was looking at building the 850 the superbore heads were still available and if the domes are whats worn out im sure you could send the ones...
sounds about right for nozzle bore but the turn nozzle should be about 2mm bigger and that will help. If anything the larger bores will help the pump slip a bit and build rpms before it loads the engine
I hope they dont just close up shop and everyone that bought one has a blunderjet story of their own. I think the best bet would be to ditch the engines and drop yamaha based stuff in there and salvage the hulls and riding seasons
I work in the manufacturing industry and understand what it takes to do exactly what they are doing and why I always said I will be surprised if it works. I'm not hating just to hate, I just knew they were having problems with their hulls and components long before people were talking about the...
this is heading off the rails again with the boat wakes but it really is too bad. I see this as the end of krash, but I always knew they wouldnt be able to match the quality of oem yamaha and what the aftermarket is already doing
