01' SXI Pro 750 - Clicking instead of turning over

So I'm trying to run compression test on my SXI pro and all I'm getting is a clicking sound when I try to start it. Battery is definitely good, I borrowed it from my quad that always starts. In fact, I'm pretty sure they are the same battery.

Anyway, it's just clicking each time I press the start button. I pulled the plugs and I can easily turn the drive shaft. So maybe starter relay? Only problem is, I don't know where it's at lol.

Any help, pictures, ideas or locations for me?

If it's a knocking noise then the solenoid is fine. Either dead battery or stuck starter. Strip the starter and run some fine sand paper over the copper plates etc the blow out with air.

I want to say the battery is good. Like I said, it will turn my qaud over and start that with no hesitation.

Is my starter located under my exhaust? If so, how the hell do I remove it?!

Starter is your problem. Remove and fix and/or replace

Can someone give me some instructions on how to pull it? Having a real hard time..

Link to the Service manuals, the 750SX manual will work. If i can remember pull the Head pipe and Expansion chamber at the same time, and there are 2 bolts that hold it to the case.
