Everything looks great!! well not the nose piece that look out of place, all the work done up to that point looks top notch. .I think it will look better once the rails ar turfed if you fill in the gap on the lower edge where they meet up

Hope it rides nice after all that work!!

well at this point I've got no choice lol

I got the hang of the stock hull super fast, and needed a little something extra...not to mention the 10-15lbs I've already lost off this thing so far!

thats what su.......nevermind. great build!

The turf is going to go completely around the ski around the bond line and fill it all in, then the nose will look much better :hitwithrock: lol

alright just got back form the first ride

its different, lets put it that way. the nose rides slightly higher, but with the -1.5 pole it counters it a little. its way more "porpoisey" now, and has slight instability at speed. it still corners very well, which is surprising given the -4 hull and shorter ride plate. The wammer cone seems to have helped with the bottom end grunt a lot, I can get it out of the water more now. The lowered pole makes it easier to get on it for hood tricks. I need to turn farther down the pole though lol

the scupper leaks, but just ever so slightly. nothing major, after 15 mins or so of sitting (on the phone with ben) I hit the bilge switch and the single 500gph pump shot a full stream for 5 seconds or so, so its liveable

ok found another problem. My fuel tank mod isn't up to par. The new pickup location leaks ever so slightly. So the motor has to come back out so I can take care of that

alright more progress today. finished turfing the pole and the front bondline. ran out of glue :banghead: so I've gotta get some more and finish the rear. Also put the decals on the RH side finally

hope to be at bens (24-7 760 superjet) house tomorrow and/or monday to get some time on her!

also thinkin about putting in some rear handholds soon...I realized that cutting off the rear bondline also meant cutting off my grab handle :banghead:

I rode this for the first time today...wow what a diff.100% better than before,as far as freestyle goes.Even with the 4in cut it still has better control than the stock superjet.I was able to rip it at top speed across the whole lake with no cavatation. It has control..but slides when u want.Last yr when i rode it,i wasnt able to do any slideing hood tricks ect.Now it has a controlled spin.I could do no handed spins while on the pole.It jumps like a dream...its perfect. My main concern on the cut was top end handling but it wasnt effected at all,if i could redo this id go -4 1/2 or 5in. He is deff going to be looking for a -6 pole but the custom stock works realy good.He put reed spacers and a wammer stub cone on and obv the ski dropped 10 -15 lbs from what we did and the ski was noticably faster and more power all the way around.I cant wait for u to get a wet pipe and a prop.
