05 SXR800 carb settings

So guys... I need some help with carb settings. I have a 2005 SXR with a factory dry pipe that I just installed with their reccommended carb settings (80 pilot jet 152.5 main jet.) I do have my choke plates removed with blowsion tornado filters so I'm curious if I need to go up a pilot jet size? It doesn't idle well on the stand and will cut out whenever I give it throttle. What pilot jets are you guys running with a similar setup? I have stock cylinder heads as well. Thank you for any advice!

I;ve used that jetting on my dry pipe and it was spot on. Is it getting good fuel delivery on both carbs?
I pulled out both plugs and they still look brand new (because they are) BR8EIX and both were very wet. How far out can I go with the Low Speed adjuster before it doesn't make a difference anymore?

stock carbs w/ filters and dry pipe i always ran 80p 155m 2.0n/s. start about 1 turn out on each adjuster and see how it goes from there
So I gave the 2.0 n/s a shot and I still can't get it to idle. I have the exhaust manifold temperature sensor disconnected and I have the air temperature sensor bypassed as the FPP directions say. Should I bypass the exhaust manifold sensor the same way or is it okay to just disconnect it as I have it now? Could it being disconnected have something to do with why it will start and shut off immediately? I'm completely confused.

Did it idle prior to you installing the pipe? what about before you changed n/s?

you can simply unplug the exhaust temp sensor and toss it in the toolbox. Being disconnected will not cause anything like you are describing.

Yes it ran freakin awesome and that's what has me stumped. I mean I have never had a single problem with it running. And no after I installed the pipe I couldn't get it to idle. That's why I came hunting for settings and then went with the 2.0n/s and it still won't idle. I'm not sure what my next step should be.

Can anyone tell me how the fuel pump works? Is it just vacuum operated? I'm going to check and make sure I don't have a leak around one of the fuel lines that could be causing a lack of fuel supply due to no pressure

try running your pop off higher. I dont think those carbs run good with that low of pop off. will the ski run in the water? will it get on the pipe once it cleans up?
