I have been slacking with photos and posting. However, here is the plan. Work today (the joys of being an adult)

Tomorrow: Finish hull bottom, footholds, scupper, re-enforcement in the engine compartment and then also decided to add a strip of carbon/Kevlar on the bottom where I was going to leave it white. Feedback appreciated. The picture of the carbon/Kevlar is attached.

Sorry for the slow update. Pancaked my head on my other SJ and blew out my left ear drum. Paint goes on tomorrow and then putting all the pieces back together.
I will upload more pics later. Scupper installed and re-foamed, foot holds installed and sanded, and outside and inside prepared for primer and paint.

Chris (JetManiac) has been awesome through the process, for those of you on the fence, get off of it and use him. Awesome seller!

Sorry. Life happened however, cleared up a lot of meetings this week and trying to push through on getting it done.

Update-

Finished fairing the hull and prepping for new gel coat.

Layered up the coats and now all its needs is to be wet sanded and polished. Doing the top of the hull in the next hour or so.

Sorry for the image quality, took this with the iphone rather than coming in and getting the camera.

Last of the gel coat laid down. Clean and polish the finish in the morning. Finishing the inside of the hull this evening.

Started painting some of the accessories. Wrapping the pole tomorrow. B-Pipe all primed.

I think for a stock ski the 9/15 would be much better. A 10/16 requires more power. If you want low end hit for freestyle then you want the 9/15.
i have the 9/15 now. i realize im quoting a post from a long time ago lol. anway, any updates on this ski. because i see a jetmaniac 718 in my distant futre:)

I've got the JetManiac 718 as well. I run a 9/15. I'd be curious to know more about the performance with the 10/16. I guess it's hard to tell, I think I can swing the 10/16 with all I mods I have. Maybe one of these days I will just have to throw one in there. Looks good, Paint looks sweet!

just curious, how does the 9/15 perform with the 718 jm/blue. does it hit pretty hard down low but have some decent mid or top? i have a 9/15 with a stock 701 and the prop is great all around the powerband.

The Hooker 10/16 or 11/17 would be a better match, 9/15 really isnt enough prop for a ported motor.

my cousin bought freestylegeek's 8 mil lamey/xmetal sj and the 10/16 hits very hard in that with the blueprinted sj pump. i think the 9/15 will hold my over with a pipe, ignition, and head for a while when i get those. thanks for the input jetmaniac.
