well i knew i had wet foam so i just dove into the project after some research heres some photos.
weighted bare hull with only midshaft and intake grate was 126 lbs
plan on shortening the hull 3inchs, chopping the stock hood, shortening handle pole 3inchs, replacing foam with polystyrene

heres a picture of the wet foam after cutting into the tray

slow going, ground the ribs down, took out all of the gooo from the factory in preparation for filling the void with 5200. Also using koosa board with reinforcing fiberglass. This stuff is waterproof and strong. Tomarrow going to completely seal up the rear hull and then start workin on the foam and sealing the tray area up

when i cut my hull i needed to get the stock exhaust cut and welded because the new angle didnt match up to the stock location. And i figured if im going to pay to have aluminum be welded, actually didnt end up having to pay, but i might as well make it custom while utilizing existing parts. A side exhaust it like 100$ so why not make one for free. Im excited to see how it sounds though, its far enough back that i shouldnt be touched by any of the water or gasses, unless idling around. What does everyone think of the exhaust like that, other than just gonna be loud? personally ive never seen on like that before

but i only have 1 more layer to do on the outside and inside of the hull. Prob already have enough but im not taking any risks. next will be fitting the polystyrene and then the drain plug and resealing with the koosa board with fiberglass reinforements

dont see why you couldnt, its just a matter of rerouting the hose and stuff. my friends X2 sometimes gets hot water from the exhaust and the pisser on my face randomly when jumping and i didnt want to deal with that. plus everyone has front exhaust

got the foam packed in and the deck epoxied down. hopefully will lay some glass this weekend and finish reinforcing the hood lip, sides and get the the hull sanded ready for paint and then the drain plug installed
