07 Superjet

After all the many different skis i rode at the Pensacola Beach freeride, i have decided to throw in the towel and sign my life away for a few years on a new ski. I was gonna get a sx-r that was a 06 leftover that was a steal, but they sold it out from under me while i was gone. So since i am gonna be buying a new one with the best deal i can get i am going for a sj!!

Does anyone know of any dealer around the atlanta area that has a leftover 07 Superjet??!! I went to the dealer i usually deal with, but my salesman was off today, and i have to go back in the morning. Also, does anyone happen to know what dealer cost is on a 07 sj?

Based on what I've seen and how my ski rides (configured very similarly to 08), I would recommend it over the previous years.
There are significant handling mods on it already that you'd probably do on a pre-08 anyways.

IMHO (<- keep that in mind), it's a no-brainer to pick an 08 if you're considering picking up an 07.
It's gonna be very close to the same in price, and you'll just spend more time and money to get handling down to what the 08 has out of the box.

Did you ride the 08?

No 08' at the Pen ride. Robby Buy an 08' and if you don't like I will trade you my husbands silver ski.:bigok:

What kind of deal will they give you? I think anything under $5600 would be good for 07'. Should be tax free because you are out of state. I called around for a 08' the best price I got with no tax was $5900

I would buy the 08 and ride it and if you don't like it for some highly unlikely reason you can sell it and probably still have enough to buy an 07 or an already modified late model SJ.

I'm on a budget too here... so the extra 500 hundred i save is the extra 500 i don't have to pay intrest on, plus that is a prop, grate, plate, and maybe a used high comp head!! The 07 still will be head over heels than my SXI. I haven't rode a 08 yet, but have heard mixed emotions around everywhere. I loved the 07s i rode, and i haven't rode a 08. But if it all boils down to it, and i can't find a 07, i'll get the 08. But 07 is still my first option!!

That silver ski is BA though! No... i'll hurt myself! HAHA!

Nothing is tax free. He will pay tax on it one way or another.

Really? :dunno:

I don't think I've read/heard a single negative thing from those who have ridden one yet.
What have people had to say to you?

moondance is correct, you will pay tax regardless. but, depending on the tax rate, say it is 7 percent in GA, it is only like 3.6 pecent in AL, you buy it in GA and pay the Alabama tax you save money, but if you buy in AL and pay tax in GA you would spend more (This is hypothetical, not sure what tax is in GA). no, this is not really relevent, just rambling!!!!!!!

lets see, you buy an 08, you are going to need to swap poles, that cost money.

I heard that Taylor C. was having issues getting his dialed in.

Oh, have you ridden one yet?

I have not. What does that have to do with my question?

See my earlier statements in this thread.
You don't have to swap poles. Do you? Have you ridden one to know that? :fingersx:

EDIT: I see, you would have issue with someone recommending a ski with built-in tubbies, wouldn't you? :lmao:
