i just know what works!!! :thinkerg:

no for most people it would be a good choice but i just dont think you can say everyone should get an 08 w/o trying it first...and you really should know who scott watkins is....hes the man...

...for you.

(Because, as should be obvious, my opinions speak for myself only - not for others)

Fair enough.

I picked up my 07 in June last year, and am in Va. I had to drive to Jersey to get it. There seemed to be none on the east coast at that time. I called all the way from NY to SC with no luck. Your best bet would be south of atlanta, as there seemed to be nothing north of atlanta, since the middle of last summer.

Okay, I've ridden the 08 now, thanks to local Racer Tim Gray.
Thanks Tim!

It wasn't stock - B-Pipe, RRP pole at -2, pre-08 steering setup, some a/m rideplate, a/m intake grate, and the new Hooker impeller.

AWESOME setup!
I'd take that over the pre-08, no question about it.
Carves awesome.
Andrew, you are right - it does not slide out at all. I am not sure how much of that was the rideplate.
I tried getting it to slide out a few times, and just ended up getting dumped each time.
So, here it is: I've ridden it, and I'd recommend getting it over the pre-08 if you like tight cornering and a (relatively) light-weight ski.

Whacha think about it out in the surf? If you could take it there, Tim is afraid of them waves and salt.......

I'd put a stock rideplate on to help with slide-ability, but that's obviously not for the race course.
I am still a novice surf rider, but I think it'd be nice stock surfboat.

Just wanted to throw my riding impressions out there.
That 04 you're picking up looks clean.
