I would never buy a new ski for the same reasons i don't drive a new car. You loose so much value after just one year. You could have one bad azz freestyle ski for that price.

Yes, there are fees for assembly as well as shipping. The dealer pays for the shipping and passes it on to their customers. The assembly includes not only the battery, but also fuel/oil and removing it from the crate it was shipped and stored in. The technician has a checklist to go over and must file that with the warranty registration paperwork.

Thnx, I thought there could be a bit more to it. But one place said it would be a $775 assembly fee!! I still think that is too much. $400-500 seems alot more resonable. So I will wait for my quote on monday, I hopin its about 7000 total.

i got mine for like 7900 something. i got the assembly stuff off through military discount, that was supposed to be 400. i also got that 48 month warranty. i didnt want it at first causei knew i would prob void it, but he told me he controls whether or not it gets voided ( which i was like BS) then i said i know that i am going to change things and he said "no one really makes things for it anyway. Just riva and they aree owned by yamaha." i said f it and got it anyway. he gave it to me for 650 instead of 900. so i guess mine was 7250ish..

quote of the day for sure.

do what i did, if you want a nice clean starter ski that hasnt been messed with and is just like new. get a year or 2 old one i got mine cherry with 5 hrs for 5200. then modded it all out and still under the 7k mark.. well close anyways.
you can buy mine. lol.

but ya get somthing a lil older with a nice title and a good owner. close to stock is the best imo. fresh water also. 3k and put 1-2 k in it and your gold. and in 3 years part it out and sell it stock. if you could part with it. i cant

Then what was changed in 08 just the hull? So theres really no down fall from getting an 07 compared to a 97 just in how well its mantained right? Now if i were to get a later model what should i look for in it?

They also come with stainless impeller, shorter pole and the pump and ride plate was set back.
