08 SJ with some X Metal

Sweet build!!!! I currently have my 08 under construction as well. Whn i am done being lazy i will start a thread too.
Have you given any thought to a new ride plate? I have been tryin to figure it out as it seems alot of the companies are startin to come out wit 08 specific.
Good luck with the build, i will be following it to get some tips and ideas.:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I picked up a few stock ride plates to try some different things with.

Filled the bond line with 404 and foam filled the bracket area. All ready for reinforcing. Man that sucks getting up in there:banghead:

Got the front hold in and mounted everything.


Made a pole pad while i waited for some glue to dry

Update..
Got a few more things done. Finished the carbon inside the hull,Thanks Gordon, Shawn, and Pete for the help. Also got the rails turfed and hand pole mounted. Now just waiting on the motor and rest of the parts from Team Scream.

What type and how many layers of carbon did you use? Also was the foam by the pole mount for reinforcement? Are you going to lay carbon in that area?
I'm starting my first superjet build and want to do the reinforcement right the first time.
