08 Superjet Build

I bought this ski back in May of 08.... Needless to say 9 months later it was time to cut it up for a set of WCF foot holds and reinforcing of the engine compartment with some carbon. Pancake Pete hooked me up with some killer deals and priceless knowledge! Thanks Pete

This past weekend Pancake and I installed WCF footholds and started to reinforce the hull by filling the bondline with West System epoxy/ 404 filler...
Next weekend its Carbon time!!!!

Here is a quick up date from superjet sunday and Pancakes crib this weekend. Super stoked, we got the nose reinforcing done( one layer S-glass one layer of carbon), footholds finished and the carbon layed up to reinforce the top and bottom deck.

Next weekend time to make it purdy with some turf and get the motor ready to go back in...

Huge thanks to Shawn "MAD SCIENTIST - COMPOSITE GURU" who came through with the 2 part foam for the nose, Pancake Pete who does an absolute killer install !!!:hail: And the "CAR SHOW CRITIC" :reporter: making sure it passed military specs.

Thanks Kennay I am very happy with the way it came out, Caker is the man... very detail oriented in his work. You would swear it was his own ski we were working on. Def puts 110% into everything he does....

Update #3 SJ is finally home after being in the hands of turf Masterminds Caker and Critic @ THE BRAP CAVE .... Thanks again to both of you guys for doing an awesome job! I haven't had much time to work on it this week but I did manage to get the edges of the turf all sealed and it came out sweet!

I did however make time to order some goodies tonight from Dan @ Jet World (Always killer prices tell him I referred you he'll hook you up)
