Very rare -1973 WSAB Kawasaki Jet Ski. One of the first built with a hand laid fiberglass hull made in Japan before they were mass produced in 1976 at the plant in Lincoln, NE USA. This unit was carefully refurbished by a professional to become a collectors or a museum piece. The engine was assembled very carefully to duplicate an original 73 with the exception of a couple missing pieces as shown in the photos. I am not listing this as a completely finished product due to the fact that there is only half a crankshaft in the cases to hold the p.t.o. coupler in place. The cylinder and cases have been bored and ported for performance reasons by the first owner. The original crank and pistons were not installed as well as the flywheel is not in the front cases due to the missing crankshaft so that the unit could not be started and would be able to remain in clean condition. Other than these few missing pieces the unit is in unbelievably great condition….right down to the original decals on the hull. One of 500 first original units produced and one of the 200 very rare WSAB models with the v- style hull. The WSAA model is what Kawasaki based all other mass produced models on because of the general ease of the ride compared to the more aggressive racing style hull of the WSAB. The pictures speak for themselves of what a remarkable piece of Jet Ski history this rare find really is. This unit was also featured in the 2009 March/April edition of A.W.A. Ride magazine.
