So, I was surfing craigslist and came across an X-2 advertised for $100. The ad said it did not run and at least needed a battery. I could tell by the pic that it at least had an aftermarket carb and ride plate. So, I emailed the guy and said I wanted it. When I went to pick it up, the guy said he wished he had advertised it as best offer, because he had already had an offer of $300. But he was honorable and sold it to me for the agreed on price of $100. So, I got it home and did a HIN check, which came up good, with no indication of it bein stolen or anything.
I was really expecting the motor to be locked up and I would just part it out and make some money. However, when I hooked it up to the battery out of my motorcycle, it turned over and had compression and spark! So, I used an Aux gas tank I had today and it actually runs and sound pretty good! This is the first time I have ever got a deal like this!
