Trying to get a ballpark on pitch before I go buying props and sending them out several times
Anyone running a 155 mag on a 1000/1100 cc build?
I know a lot more than that goes into it so don’t give me the lecture!! Lol
I’m sure there’s about a 100 other threads on this too but I don’t want to revive them
Thanks

Dasa 1100 with lay down pipe wet and 49s with 155 skat mag pump. I ordered a 10/17 with 5mm set back repitched to a 11/17 loved it.

ET 967 with lay down pipe wet and 46s used a 7/15 set back 5mm. Loved it.

Hope this helps you out.

So you know that there is threads with possible information, but you dont wanna search them?
sooo many variables you are not giving info about. Hull, other engine components. but you dont want to be lectured. If you know all this and dont want to be lectured - why ask for this information in this way.
Basically you want all the correct information and have people guessing your setup?
Well good luck :)

I didn’t want to write a book man, I was curious to hear what other builds people had and what props they were running. Seems you were the only one that had the time to come whine about it? If you had such an issue why not just ask instead of being high and mighty?

How hard is to list your basic setup? You want useful advice but leave out all the relevant information...

You dont need to write a book, but just basic information.
The forum has a search function, thats intended to use for searching information.
I didnt ask, because i think its just hopeless when people cant even do least of effort, when asking for help.
use the search function, ive been happily sharing information about setup with users.

PM me your shipping address so I can mail you a tissue to cry on :) if I would have found my exact set up on another thread I wouldn’t have posted one, maybe google what the word “ballpark” means.

Already got a ballpark number from someone on the first reply to my post based on what I said. Wasn’t that hard and they didn’t cry about it. Why this is such an issue that you two have the time of day to whine about a joke is beyond me.

Attitudes aside, I think folks are genuinely trying to help you and save you time and money. The more people know about your setup, the more likely the prop recommendation will be correct. Props aren’t cheap and throwing the wrong one at something can make an 1100 feel like a 701. I’ve learned the hard way there is no detail too small in terms of your setup. Crazy little things can make these freestyle skis feel totalllly different. That being said, I agree, there’s a good chance you will be between 8/16-13/18 but that’s a big range and you can’t really bend a prop that far if you get a 13-18 and really need an 8/16

Also, that range is good for a lay down pipe and decent ignition. If you are running a B pipe, 44s and an enahancer, you aren’t going to be turning an 11/17 or probably anywhere close.

Thank you, argument aside, I am running a lay down pipe and 48 full specs on a total loss. The pipe and motor combination I’m running is almost a unicorn so I use the ballpark number based on what I know to decide if I want to go toward the upper limit. I appreciate the information!
