'11 SXr: Ignition couplers similar to KX mx bikes?

Anyone seen such a thing on a stock 37th Anniversary ski? Where you plug a male plug into one of two female receptacles to get a lower or higher performance power output? Thanks

White is a temp sensor for the oem exhaust. Green one is an air temp sensor that can retard timing slightly if high ambient temps are sensed.

Unplugging the white plug and removing it completely does nothing. Unplugging the green air temp sensor and installing a jumper across the plug gives a slight timing advance. The jumper plugs are (were) included with new factory pipe exhaust systems when they were available. The plug is the same as many automotive plugs for turn signals, marker lights, ect. You can get them for nothing at junkyards and jump the wires yourself for a basically free small timing advance.

From the pic you posted it looks like you have the timing advance jumper installed already and the white exhaust temp sensor removed. Leave it like it is and ride it.

If you do end up installing an ignition be sure to remove the jumper plug or you may detonate due to the timing being excessively advanced.
