1100 b1 issues

So I've had issues with this ski since I've built it, it will flat out rip for around 30 mins then all of a sudden it will just bog and barely get up to speed but won't top out at all and it will only idle after a few mins of trying to just get up to speed. I thought I was having water issues but I should have solved that with a versa plug, bilge, filter skins. The first time the plugs were wet and had some white stuff around the edge. Yesterday it ran great then the same and the plugs were dry. Gas cap is good and tank vent holds pressure. It's a built motor ported bottom end ported top end head and sbn 46 carbs.

Exhaust leak? Dunno if if it would take 30 min to develop but can be ruled out if you pop hood next time it happens

Not sure if a static test reveals much with stators but there are specs for proper resistances on the exciter coils. U could try if you have a multimeter

I could try that. But I need to take it out for a half hour until it craps out then test it. But now that I think about it I had an old arctic cat sled that did this same thing. So unfortunately I bet it is the stator. I guess this is why I keep more then one blaster in the garage. Wtb stator!

image.jpg These plugs were new and have a half hour on them.. Brown black black ? Looks like it could of had water in the rear cylinder as I'm now losing compression in the rear cylinder... I still don't think it was fuel delivery but I'll go through the carbs and replace fuel filters since it had some white crap in them. And go from there, I've never had a ski or my buddies that rips for a half hour then falls all over the place and will barely run. I'm waiting on a multimeter to clear the stator still.

Exciter coils.

They are heating up and your spark is being lost on 1 or more cylinders. After it cools spark is regained. When it happens again...Check for spark on each plug. Also...ohm each coil.

Best of luck.

smartest guy on the planet for ignitions is John at JetSki Solutions. Send him an email and he will help more than we can. I just googled Kawi 1100 stator and looks like you only have one exciter coil so my theory is out.

Few things
Can you just snap a simple pic of the motor in the ski for me. like water lines and lines. I can tell a good amount from a pic.

also did you mod the chamber?
how did you run the water lines to the chamber?
did you take the water cooling off the stator? if you didnt you should(smartest man in the world John says its a joke)
did you buy the hood block we sell so water doesn't dump on the rear carb?
did you then open extra holes for more air after that block?
did you buy our hood prop kit? sound like you need it since you are working on it more than riding... sorry JK

i will try to post a picture here in a little bit. the chamber is modded it was not done by me, this was a used 1100 i purchased that was in a superjet. i do not have a hood block kit... and the rear cylinder is losing compression now. i will look into the hook block kit i had no idea this was needed. the stator has no water cooling either. but i do have the rad dudes mount, rear water box, and front cdi mount!

This is the only pic I have but from the pump and from the stock bilge line come to a y splitter one goes into the exhaust manifold and the other line supplies the stinger water. After getting after it for a half hour you can hold your hand on everything no problem.
