first matter of business...remove oil injection and throw it in the trash
$150 for all of that is a deal. I agree with Ultimate, if it were me, I would rebuild the crank. Even if it is in good shape, it is still 13 years old and who knows how many hours are on it. A rebuild isn't cheap by any means, but the knowledge of knowing the time on the crank is worth it in my opinion.
Also, stock kawi SXR pistons will go in these as long as you bore up to 82mm. These motors respond well to bore. As for carbs, you can get them to run decent on stock non cv carbs. A better option is three SXR carbs, but you need to find them, the two manifolds and the linkage stuff. Kind of a pain, but more power than the stockers. There is a guy on pwctoday names 'trip' who is doing really nice conversion set ups using SXR carbs and his prices are cheap. The best set up is a set of aftermarkets. We have tried 44s, 46s and NOVI 48s. All are better than stockers or SXR set ups. The 44s make good power, the 46s make more, the 48s make the most. On a stock bore or even slightly modded set up, I would go 46s. My SXR with 46s, compression and our pipe set up runs 64mph all day long on pump gas. That is with a stock non ported motor.
The best thing about these set ups is how easy it is to get power out of them. My stock bore set up runs like a champ with very little overall investment. But, if you ant more, my brothers set up with a Judge Motorsports porting set up, 82mm bore and the 48 NOVIs makes mine feel like a limited, lol. It's all a matter of ho much money you want to spend and how much power you can hang onto. And, even with his set up, we have less invested than a new SJ or SXR will run you.
Good luck with the build.

Your ski runs 64mph all day long on pump gas, is this with the stock sxr pump?
