1100 ZXI engine in a 750 SXI

I've got a Kawasaki 1100 ZXi engine in a 750 Sxi stand up. I want to put the pump of of a Zxi on my stand up but I don't know what the difference between the pumps off of a 750, 900, and 1100 Zxi have in common. I know that the impellers are different, but is the pump off of a 900 or a 1100 zxi much different than the pump on a 750Sxi?

As far as i remember, the 900 and 1100 had the same pumps (possibly minor diffs, but they were interchangeable), although I might be mistaken. And they are very different than the SXI pump.

900 zxi is still a 140mm, it just mounts differently and is a little more robust. I think the 1100 goes to 148mm. I wouldn't think you'd see any advantage from changing to a 900 pump over the 750.

I'll put some pics up soon. I expanded the hull on the drivers side to make room for the stock exhaust to go by. I need to match the power up to a pump that can use it and still keep a bunch of low end.

A friend of mine did that here, the ski was a little heavy on the bottom end, but up top it was like driving a streetbike........it was scary fast! The hull did not help much though, you had to really fight it to make it go straight.

Great fun !

Drivers side...I know what you mean but common man. Props for making this engine fit but the ski is made for one person to stand in the middle. There is no drivers side.

PS - I'd like to see this thing in the hull. Any idea how much more that engine weighs compared to the 750?
