144 pump conversion fx1 (second pump for new project

Here is my 144 pump conversion for my fx1. A lot of work machining it to fit but i got it done. still need to paint it.

Looks like a 61X reduction nozzle with a 6R7 pump housing and a Kawi steering nozzle.

Nice job but what's up with those bushings on the bolts?

Nozzle is from a kawasaki 750 ss. and the bolts were too long so i made some aluminum bushings to move them forward so i could use the thread on them.
Your right Zero 61x reduction nozzle and a 6r7 pump housing you know your parts. hopefully i will assemble the pump tomorrow and install it. Will try to get pictures up when done.

you still have to cut, flip and reweld the rear mounting tabs on the reduction nozzle? or did you remount the rear inserts?

remounted the rear inserts. Nice pump on your post you brought that pump from seatsR4toilets.

here is the second 144 pump conversion for a fx1 build that i am about to complete. The first one has been great and been working with out any problems.

Have you only replaced the Pump or also modified the pump tunnel ? Or is that the same size ?

only the pump. pump tunnel is stock.

The way you did this the pump will just bolt in to the stock location on the fx1? No fiberglass work?

That's right this pump just bolts up and no fiberglass work. I will post pictures of the ski when completed.
