New 155/160 "mag" style pump $1000

It has been my goal as of late to figure out how to produce a pump that was a great performer at a fraction of the cost of the big name pumps. I believe I have done it. It's a modified 160 that Yamaha uses on there new four strokes. This is a new pump housing modified by me, new bearings, seals and custom cut drive shaft. (To correct the spline engagement issue common with 155 pumps). It requires the use of a blaster 2 155 wear ring and 155 nozzle. The beauty of this setup is that its actually a 160 but all the 155 stuff works on it. Soon I hope to have 160 wear ring available. All you will have to do is change out the wear ring and prop.

I have tested 2 variations of this setup and have had had no issues.

If anyone is looking for amazing performance at a fraction of the cost look no further.

It is an all aluminum cast eight vein large hub (75mm) stator.

Hi, great product but 2 questions.
It s 160 impeller???? But with only 75 mm and not 83mm?

When we want a driveshaft it s only custom driveshaft or another is compatible? Bearings models?

Thanks

The bearings and seals are not the same size as the Yamaha but can be bought at any good bearing store. That where I got these. 63052rsc3 bearing and Tcm seal 25x43x8tc-bx. The drive shaft from a Superjet can be used. However it will be 1/2 inch shy of proper spline engagement as with any standard oem 155 stator. The impeller ran will be determined by the wear ring used. I have been running 155 props. 160 testing will start in the spring. Yes it's 75mm hub so it mates great with the majority of 155 props out there. I would say you can run a 83 mm hub prop but haven't tested that yet.

So good. I have oem 155 pump with 7/15 thinblade with 950 dasa. Who have try 160 pump for know what impeller size for this pump?

Would you run this pump with a 155 wear ring or 160?
I would say you could continue running your current prop and wear ring and feel a improvement. Wear ring size determines your prop size. Currently I do not have a 160 wear ring ready for sale yet.

Did you weld up and re-machine the stator housing to work with the older wear ring?
Or is the 8-vane different on the outside from the big hub 6-vane HO pump?
