Yes the new adaptor is longer to go over the second oring .

Pump housing and stator is machined separate, then heated and cooled for a shrink fit , done this way so that either part can be easily replaced if something gets sucked into the pump damaging one or the other part.

Aluminum is 2.5 lbs lighter.

Stainless is 7 lbs. Aluminum is 4.5 lbs I'm out of town but can post more pictures once home.

What size was you running and was it stainless or aluminum also any comparison to say torrent

We were running aluminum 155. I think comparisons to another brand are pointless because every ski is a snowflake, no two are the same. Every one is so different and every person sets up a pump differently. I have ran every brand of pump out there and when set up properly they all work well.
