I think the smaller motors like the oem 155 without the big hub stator and a stubby cone because it takes the pump longer to pressurize allowing the motor to get into the powerband before the pump loads the motor

Managed to grab a 155 pump cheap so looking for some help with props. I am still unsure if this is going to be any good in surf but i'm willing to try. Pump will be going in my new Tigercraft SV-1 running a 61x +5mm crank (810cc) on B pipe, MSD etc. This motor tends to hit later than a SS 61x but once pulling she keeps pulling longer.....So, any advice on props?

I will be testing a oem 155 with a 6/14 in about 3 weeks.865 with a rrp pipe.lf you can wait,l will give some feedback on it.l am thinking it's gonna be a crap shot at best.

As far as surf, you can't beat a mag pump.

Could we make a list over what is needed for doing the conversion from a 144 superjet pump to a 155 oem pump and what models that have these oem? It would be to great help for me and others looking for this option

Just a different driveshaft. I sent mine to Jetmaniac for rebuild and shaft.
Then you have to figure out pump bolts. The 155 I have was from a radier 1100 so it bolted to the intake duct. Wear ring isn't threaded. So I just used short bolts and lock nuts.

@cookn makes inserts for wear rings to run stock 144 long pump bolts.

Every one that I know that has put 155 in stock superjet has cut the pump tunnel larger(intake grate area) to accept more flow including grinding open stock 144 pump shoe or installed a 155 pump shoe.
