Don't go by number when comparing 2 different prop mfg.. 8/11 will not be the same as an 8/11 from different mfg.Hmm ok. Skats numbers are lower? Whats the details? In good shape? Pictures?
Any advice for comparing? I know they can vary but how much?Don't go by number when comparing 2 different prop mfg.. 8/11 will not be the same as an 8/11 from different mfg.
Each MFG shows what each type of prop is for "Stock, Limited, Mod"........ In your case you are using it on a hull that will not show up on the charts. So, I would look at what they call out for a Blaster2. Its weight was around 380 lbs if I remember correctly, It came with a 155 pump.Any advice for comparing? I know they can vary but how much?
Yea thats what i used. Ordered based on a b2 recommendation. Seemed the lowest pitch for 155 pump. Same recommendation for the couch 155 with 701, 760. Figured itd be a good starting point. Gotta pay to play. Each MFG shows what each type of prop is for "Stock, Limited, Mod"........ In your case you are using it on a hull that will not show up on the charts. Rockered RN. 155 OEM pump. Have a Skat 6/10 swirl cutback now. It cavitates out of the hole pretty good. Just gonna try upping the pitch and see what happens. Thanks for the advice. I love the 6/10 for surf. Itll pop it sideways in a second and i can slide and ride but for just freeridingthe intercoastal, i could definitely pull more prop. What ski is it going in? Engine etc? Sola impellers in general load the engine much harder than skat. Solas are generally heavier and have thicker blades. So many kinds of impellers too. Large hub, small hib, swirl, etc. I prefer skat over Solas because they generally have better bottom end and acceleration than Solas. Solas are better for top end generally
You wante too sell that impeller i could bee interested ???Rockered RN. 155 OEM pump. Have a Skat 6/10 swirl cutback now. It cavitates out of the hole pretty good.
