155mm oem pump bearings

Putting a oem setback 155mm pump into my kv997 reaper. I have read somewhere in the past that 2 different bearings are used, 1 for the front, 1 for the rear but cant find that information again.

Does anybody know what bearings I need to buy?

It is correct that Yamaha uses a certain bearing setup in the 155 pumps but... in all cases no matter 144 or 155 stator the shaft used determines the bearings needed. As to which one you need, which shaft do you have?

My Krash came with a 148mm setback. Going to use the Krash driveshaft but I havent taken everything apart yet. Im new to this and am under the impression that setback means the prop is cutback? Going to get a 5mm cutback prop from Impros probably. Maybe I am using the wrong language?

Let me save you some headache. The setback shaft won’t work in an oem pump. I can cut you any shaft length you need and get your 155 pump set up. May I ask why your going away from the Krash setback?

Not so much getting away from Krash pump as much as that i want to try a oem 155mm. What reason wouldnt the Krash shaft work? I was told it should but again i havent taken anything apart yet

I would have to see it but I have cut a couple krash setbacks and I know the bearing spacing is different then the oem. Also the length will be different. The bearing location and length is what makes it a setback. (Not the prop) Here is a picture of the bearing surface differences.

Both are for a Superjet application.
