155mm pump in 2011 XFS hull?

I've heard that there would be a problem fitting a 155mm pump to a 2011XFS hull? Does anyone know if this is true?
I am thinking of replacing my 148skat with a 155skat pump. But do not want to modify my carbon hull...
 
It's actually easy now RRP make a specific pump shoe (without the inner ring) that fit right in. Used to be a right pain with grinding etc but simple now.

I've done and run two XFS of your shape with this 155 setup and it works really nice.
 
It's fits no problem at all, done two of them already myself! It's snugg doing the jubilee clips up but take you're time and it's fine! Major upgrade in thrust over a 144 for sure.

So after some real struggling the pump is finally there.
It took some grinding on the new pumpshoe and on the wearring housing.

I fitted a skat 155 non setback. (OEM housing with skat interior)
I used a -97 +10mm driveshaft.

Actually no clearence issues with the rideplate.

BUT it was tight to get everything in place.

no testride yet so cant tell you if it did big difference or not. But I sure hope so.
 
We set a 155mm skat mag into a a 2012 xfr and it fit with no issue. I wish I would have known this years ago.. great info for future builders.
